Dr. Paul Guthiga holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Bonn, Germany, where his research focused on economic assessment of forest management approaches in Kakamega Forest, Kenya. He has extensive research experience spanning agricultural efficiency, forest conservation, rural livelihoods, and environmental policy. His work has resulted in journal articles, book contributions, and international conference presentations.

Dr. Maurice Juma Ogada
Agricultural & Resource Economist
Dr. Maurice Juma Ogada is an accomplished Agricultural and Resource Economist with over 15 years of experience in agrifood systems, value chain development, monitoring and evaluation, climate change, and technology adoption. He has consulted widely for international organizations including FAO, ILRI, AGRA, CGIAR, GALVmed, and the Alliance Bioversity-CIAT, leading large-scale socio-economic surveys, randomized control trials, and impact and process evaluations across Eastern Africa and beyond. He has served as Policy Analyst at ILRI and KIPPRA, and is currently Agricultural and Resource Economist at Bayesian Consulting Group and Coordinator at Taita Taveta University's CEMEREM Centre.

Dr.-Ing. Nashon J. Adero is a geospatial and systems modelling expert and Dean of the School of Mines & Engineering at Taita Taveta University. With over 15 years' experience spanning professional services, consultancy, research, teaching, public service, and youth mentorship, he is the Founder of Impact Borderless Digital (IBD). He serves on the Kenya Chamber of Mines Executive Council and is author of 'Project Design for Geomatics Engineers and Surveyors' (CRC Press/Taylor & Francis, 2023).

Field Research Supervisor
Dr. Linda holds a PhD in Veterinary Parasitology from the University of Nairobi (2024). She has over 10 years' experience in field-based research and surveys in agriculture and natural resource management. At BCG, Linda supervises field data collection in the upper eastern region of Kenya covering Meru, Tharaka-Nithi and Embu counties. She participated as a team member in the pre-feasibility study for the Galana-Kulalu Food Security Irrigation Project.
