Dr. Paul Guthiga holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Bonn, Germany, where his research focused on economic assessment of forest management approaches in Kakamega Forest, Kenya. He has extensive research experience spanning agricultural efficiency, forest conservation, rural livelihoods, and environmental policy. His work has resulted in journal articles, book contributions, and international conference presentations.

Dr. Maurice Juma Ogada is an accomplished Agricultural and Resource Economist with over 15 years of experience in agrifood systems, value chain development, monitoring and evaluation, climate change, and technology adoption. He has consulted widely for international organizations including FAO, ILRI, AGRA, CGIAR, GALVmed, and the Alliance Bioversity-CIAT, leading large-scale socio-economic surveys, randomized control trials, and impact and process evaluations across Eastern Africa and beyond. He has served as Policy Analyst at ILRI and KIPPRA, and is currently Agricultural and Resource Economist at Bayesian Consulting Group and Coordinator at Taita Taveta University's CEMEREM Centre.
